I would do the 454. You can build a low compression oval port engine and go in the 12's without much effort.

I would actually do the 781's with the rpm intake. Put a 1" open spacer on it.

240 may even be too much if it’s around 9:1 compression. I’ve seen a lot of stock head motors with about 10 degree splits @.050, i was quoted a 229/241 cam for a project I’m doing.

The motor has 30 over flat tops I was gonna have it zero decked and small domes have everything balanced goal is to be around 10-1 maybe lil less I want a pump gas motor

Was doing some math if I put the 781s with 118cc chambers and a 060 head gasket it takes my compression to 10.48 to 1 ,o think this might be my cheap way out till I save some pennies for bigger crank swap meets are coming up soon I'm just unsure if the cam will work
