If you use a carburetor CFM calculator, you will find you have more than enough carb. Wideband tuning will tell you everything you want to know. Don't try building a carb for what you want - buy it.

The cfm calculator says 787 for the street 1010 for racing ,I guess 850 is a good split lol ,I'm really leaning towards the 850 HP carb

We use 500 rodchester in our class on our "stock" 350s at our track we definitely run out of air quick ,end of the year couple guys put 3310s and Victor juniors on and picked up 5mph and times were alot quicker too ,how big was your track

we ran across Ontario, Capital City raceway in Ottawa was 3/8 of a mile, Delaware near London Ontario is 1/2 mile, Varney Speedway is a 1/4 mile. We used the 500 cfm race holley in the sportsman and pro late model. I do not like holley for the street but on the track they are great for feeding fuel for high rpms

I run at Pittsburgh PA motor speedway it's 1/2 mile but really it's 5/8 on dirt ,I like Holley for street cars and dirt track ,used to run the rodchester s on my mid trucks and crawlers cause they were easy to work on it a pinch plus they take alot of weird off camber situations we're the holleys flood easier unless you got a truck advenger

I ran an 850 on my 13:1 427 and went 10.30’s with it in my 3360 lbs car. Shifted at 7200.
My car weighs 3508 I shift around there myself sounds like 850 should serve me well I got 82s in front 6.5 power valve ,90s in back with it blocked ,I want to try 6.5 in the back with 80s on all four corners

Why are you even messing with power valves - rule of thumb is +4 on jets w/o power valves and that's when you jet square. As I said earlier quit guessing and use an o2. I've used APD and been very happy with them and service. Just bought a pro billet from them.
