doesn't matter. pull the plugs and see what they look like. this is the best diagnostic tool there is, the plugs can show you how the engine is running and if it varies from cylinder to cylinder.

Yea first priority is get her running right. That said those are Olds ralleys but they would still look better on your Pontiac than whats there now. And 4 15s for $75 is a deal you can never not sell them for that or more.
Just an update.. gonna take her to the shop in the morning and let em have a look at it. Also I found a guy on craigslist that says he'll do a ls1 swap for 4K$ parts n labor or a lt1 swap for 3K$ parts n labor. says he's done it before on his 81 trans am. Just sumthin I'm rollin around in the old noggin for future plans.
