I just recently bought my first gbody a 86 Cutlass 4 door with the 3.8, 3spd and 2.41 gears. It has 74000 org KM on it, its blue and very solid. I bought it with intentions of a winter beater, but its growing on me more and more to keep it as a daily after winter. It has the perfect foundations for a sleeper car. I come from the s-series world so if theres any questions on the little trucks i can probally help. Ive lurked this seat for quite awhile looking for information. The plans for the car after winter are to paint it, clean it up fix the little bit of rust it has. Im planning a fuel injected v8 swap into it aswell. Im aiming for 25-30mpg once done. Im looking at a 7400 vortec as an engine plant. and a 200r4 transmission. I doubt it will get my mpg goal with it but itd be a good sleeper. I dont see the mpg goal with a carb either.
