I'm friends with the farmer that owns the land. I can do anything I want except drive on the land. Walk it, target shoot, hunt, etc. I really want a Barrett .50 cal and do some long distance shooting. I have clear sight in fields for 1,000 yards in one direction 😎

UGH. Im so jealous. Downside is we have to contend with the SAFE Act. Im thinking about getting a HOWA after my cars finished. Shooting 100 and 200 are easy. I'd like to go to 500 but theres no range around here like that.

I've never even tried 500. I can put it on steel at 300 without much trouble, which is fine since that's further out than the end of my driveway. Long range intrigues me but it looks like it could easily turn into another bad habit I can't afford.

Joking aside, what's the refill rate on te well like? What if you got one of those big 500 or 1000 gallon white plastic "food grade" tanks they sell second hand cheaply.

Fill it up a little at a time as well allows. When rain is sparse, use a $50 inline pump to push water to a sprinkler.

Setup probably costs 200-250, but, cheaper than reseeding all over again.

Luckily it filled up within a few hours with no adverse side effects. That's actually not a bad idea. Hmmm I have a friend that has a tank. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the idea!

You should got a order of some hay that already went thru the horse. When we put our first trailer on the in-laws property we used the "used" hay from their horse barn & had grass in no time. Smell went away before we actually moved in.

Looks like almost the same price to me. I would get the bolt action Barrett, not the semi auto.

Armalite is less than 2500, Im not seeing a Barrett anywhere near that
