Mounted a 4x4 piece of osb to the basement wall, and a water filter housing to that. We need a water softener, but that's just going to have to wait for awhile for us to recover.

I love the cathedral ceilings it always made me feel like the house is bigger then it really is. That porch is top notch too. Really looking nice. PS On all our new construction sites in the winter we put straw down over the mud to keep from losing boots etc.

Thanks! The weather doesn't know what it's doing around here lately so we may need to do that in a few weeks when we start moving in!

Well I drove an hour away to the only Lowe's within 200 miles that had a couple of boxes of the same laminate flooring left. It's already installed and now the laminate is all done. Contractor started putting the kitchen cabinets up. Ran into a couple of issues. Evidently I had my head up my you know what when I ordered them and forgot to order one cabinet. 🤬 So needless to say the counter can't be measured until all the cabinets are installed. What an idiot. Oh well. Also we got dumped on today, about a foot of snow give or take. House is nice and toasty! We have lots of things to do, paint the stairwell, touch up some spots here and there, pick out a few more fixtures, wife wants to go back to the carpet store and make sure she picked the right carpet 🤣 I started building the kitchen island at work. Might be done next week, we'll see 😎
