Hard to beat a good old fashioned carb on a stout motor that merely drops right in, that is what I ded to my aero coupe 9.75-1 383 with some Summit Vortec heads and a retro-fit hydraullic roller cam. Nice score, clean looking for sure. I have to be honest, I normally don't dig the white & blue interior, but it really looks great on that car.

Probably a trunk release solenoid in the glove box (originally anyway), might be worth a call to the previous owner.

normally I don't like that interior etiher but it looks great for some reason in this car lol...

Surgery is done but i cant really see well yet... hopefully next week i can play around with it.

Okay so after spending the last 6 days stuck in the house recovering from PRK laser eye surgery I had much time to think and plan and envision what I would like to do with this car. These are my plans :

Blueprint 383 stroker motor w/ roller camshaft and holley 750 cfm carb (430hp/450tq)
going to pull the accessory brackets off of the blown up 305, and get new AC DELCO accessories (WP, PS,ALT, etc😉
motor is solved
- car has electric fans in it already assuming they work and radiator but worst case can toss new stuff in (actually have twin LS1 cooling fans out of my camaro SS that work still)

going to keep the TH350 trans since they are good anyway. Just have to get the manual converter lockup control
do a shift kit and adjust the shift points on the trans will do a 3600 stall converter as well

leave the rear alone until it blows (thats what I did with my F-body SS as well)
when that goes prob go to a 12 bolt if not a 10 bolt 8.5 rear

clean the interior up and put it all back together (rear seats are removed right now)

toying with the idea of changing to blue buckets and a floor shifter but not sure

Going to sand the hood down, primer and paint it at the shop (have basic paint tools) doesn't have to be perfect but better than peeling and faded paint everywhere.

there is a spot of clear on the roof that is peeling not sure what I Am going to do with that yet

Probably convert the headlights to HIDs

peel the blue tint off and re-tint the whole car, loose the skull shifter, and skull door locks. maybe loose that weird center console piece the PO put in.

might need a new ignition cylinder because it sticks (if spray dont work)

Sounds good. Have you thought about upgrading the brakes and suspension as well?

I never said I wanted to stop ! Just go fast lol just playing

Yeah well looks like it's got some suspension work and will upgrade the brakes to disk whenever I blow the rear and do a 12 bolt

Stopping is over rated! Lol.

I'm wondering how well the small front brakes can stop that 430hp you're gonna drop in.

Not gonna do anything crazy. Lol. Sometimes easier said than done! Lol.

You should have a pretty quick car if you can get traction and not break things.

so I took a better look at the car today, the starter is missing ( i assume that explains the lack of power going to gauges and interior items when the ignition key is turned)

The motor is definitely seized tried to spin it manually... looks like it has a rochester quadrajet on it, aftermarket distributor, what sucks is not sure if its a 305 or a 350 (2 owners ago could have swapped it in) there are 5 aftermarket gauges which makes me think that the guy had alota work done to this car. but no contact with that owner.

Can you see any of the numbers on the engine to identify it?
