Hey guys! After owning a newer mustang for a few years I was forced to sell to make room for more savings towards a home. The housing market is cut throat out here and I want to get my family into a house someday. Anyways we sold ans purchased a less expensive Ford escape and it carries us happily from point à to b but it doesn't fill ne up with joy the way that the sound of v8s did. So after lots of deliberation my spouse convinced me that this would be the perfect time for me to fulfill my dream of owning and caring for a classic car. As long as it fit our budget. I looked and looked and I found a really mint looking 1980 cutlass Brougham that somehow survived the years unmolested. Here she is! She has the 305 v8. I am not sure of the transmission but I am. Assuming maybe th200 or 350. Some mods I want to perform are Blazer front brakes and a dual exhaust system so I can here this. I am not sure whether dressing up the current engine or simply swaping a pick up 350 would be better.

I think so. I have to admit that I am new to GMs of this era. Some guy spotted it today and was like "hey the 70s called and they want their interior back lol"

Yeah I live in British Columbia and snow isn't really existant out here. Not too sure where it lived most of its life or even how many kms it truly has. Driving it around, it makes me think that this was babied ans kept sheltered for very many years by its former owner. I extemelt happy to have it. I just want a dual exhaust for it now so I can hear the engine more!
