Greetings Guys;
I still have my perfect "Camel" Tan Bench seat if you know of anyone who needs one? /QUOTE]

I just had to comment as my OE front seat (with heavy duty police vinyl) is one of the three pieces that I no longer have. It sat in the basement for 20 years & when we moved I seen the bottom, it was all mold. Sold it to a guy for the back of his pick-up.
So I got a ask you guys (Wayne & MichMalibuMan) how well have ya done at the drag strip??? Since we (me included) all have 406" engines, but both you guys have an extra gear on me. It sure would be fun to go to the drag strip with you guys. Looser buys the beer. And I'd want a handi cap because I got AC & only 3 gears?? Take care & think spring, Ole' Bob.

Ole' Bob that sounds good to me. The shifter is a Hurst Comp plus With a mopar bench seat handle. I got a TKO 600 For Christmas looking forward to installing that .😎

I only ran mine 1 night at the drag strip up here in Maine just to see what It would do with the 4 speed and the gears I had in it.
NOTE: It was only an 1/8 Mile strip and I ran a 6.7 sec. 1/8th mile but the torque from the motor took off both the fan and the power steering belts.
I only had the V-belt set up on it and would like to go to a "March" serpentine belt system someday but $5-600 makes me say ouch!

they're pricey,check the alignment too,sometimes aftermarket brackets misalign things and one belt flying off will take both off.look into deeper grooved pulleys too they're a good alternative to serp conversions.
