I’m just torn on what to do it’s not going to be a pebble beach concourse car obviously, but the originality part of me wants to clean and clear it to preserve because of the grease pencil markings on it and since they weren’t perfect firewalls from the factory anyway but at the same time new paint would be nice since the engine will be in a fresh coat of corporate blue but just 50/50 on it. I am going to paint the core support and the frame just to freshen them up along with misc brackets and hardware.

I can’t thank AZRegal enough for the air cleaner assembly I got from him it is pristine it will look perfect under the hood.

Did quite a bit of work on the wiring harness this evening. I’ve got to pick up some smaller loom tomorrow for a few misc ground wires. But definitely a big improvement compared to the mess I started with.

Yes you can, and have. Glad you can get some use out of it.
I just noticed your grey inspector checking out the box. My daughter's cat was all over that box when i was constructing it. He is a nosey b*st*rd too. Lol.

My vote is to clean and clear. It’s only original once.

Yes she is very nosey

Finished up installing the new brake lines this evening and started gravity bleeding the rear brakes. Also got the wiring pretty much buttoned up and reloomed. It looks really good may do some more on it once the engine is back in but we’ll see. Going to try and get the core support prepped for a fresh coat of paint along with some misc bolts and brackets.

Started doing some cleanup and painting today. Just going to give the frame and core support a fresh coat of paint to freshen things up. I may replace the core support as it has some rust issues but for now I cleaned it up. Definitely looks better than rust all over it
