Awesome car but needs 4.1 turbo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may get a upgrade on its power plant in the future but for now I just want to drive it and enjoy it before I take it back apart. Also want to get my new shop built before I do a big swap as I’m running out of room in my 3 car basement garage

I look at it this way.

Is it a sweet option car......definetely a yes

Is there any collector value to it..............meh, I honestly dont think there is much demand for them

Will a 3.8 or 4.1 turbo increase its value, desirability and funness to drive........absolutely YES!!

That would increase its funness to drive I think for sure I would love to put a 86-87 engine in it but really just need to get my new shop built as I’ve been putting it off but I’m hoping maybe this coming year it will happen. I’m looking at doing maybe a 30x40 with a lift may go a tad bit bigger haven’t decided but really need the room before tackling a swap like that. Also need to do some rust repair on the cutlass roof so it can get some primer.

Just got back from vacation and decided to do some work under the hood, git the right fenderwell cleaned up and rerouted some of the wiring. Still need to clean up the ac comp, trans cooling lines and some other items. Also removed the overspray off the blue steering column collar. I ordered a carb kit for the Dualjet and hoping to have that in a few days so I can clean it up and install new gaskets and whatever else it may need. Planning on being done completely under the hood this weekend until I get the motor back. Also It appears the heater valve has been changed out at some point to the black plastic one. Going to get a ac Delco one since they still make the original style and they aren’t too expensive for the correct piece.

Got tired of looking at that crappy white paint gm used to outline the bumper strips they were all chalky looking. A little acetone and no more white paint. Looks much better without the chalky look.
