non ccc hei dist install in a 82 elky

hi guys i will be pulling my 3.8 out and replacing it with a 350 how do i wire it thanks in advance for your help

The difference is you won't have the computer harness to plug in & will need run a vacuum hose to the carb. Both use the same pink power wire.

thanks pagrunt just that one wire.. I;m going to pull the old engine and clean up the engine bay next week

CCC and older non CCC (vacuum advance) HEI distributors used the same 12 ga PINK IGNITION feed wire under the coil cap so that part should need no rewiring. That wire comes directly from the IGN switch on column FYI.

Like pagrunt said you need to connect up the vacuum advance to manifold vacuum source for that part to work.
