Just called him. Still has it and a 70s Camaro clutch pedal, but I won't be able to get down there for a week or two. Was behind a TPI 305, so likely to be the exact one you want. I can ship this if you aren't in a hurry. Oh, and I picked up a used 3.08 7.5 R&P from the Forum - that might make this swap more fun.

I might be, but it would be a week or two before the funds would be together for it. I wonder how much that thing will be to crate up and ship?

I wonder if it has the correct input shaft? On the upside it probably has been rebuilt at some point in its history. And with the Dextron label it is probably still a WC.

that is the case number, the number you need to tell what it came out of is a small metal tag thats attached to a case bolt. date code does show 90, so its a WC T5, it also has the correct 26 spline input shaft, so its a V8 transmission

An '84 mustang trans would have a 10 spline input shaft. There are more than 10 splines visible in the picture of one side of the input shaft.

Yeah I realize it came out of a Camaro. I was trying to identify it and was surprised by where it fell on that chart. Wonder if the case has been changed.
