Odd question=What sandwich bread do you prefer?

I generally prefer dense, smooth white bread. None of this crumbly cheap rips in half when you fold it BS. I did try hostess bread once, it reminded me a lot of a cheap homemade cake. I liked it. For lunchmeat sandwiches, I can deal with whole wheat/grain. PB&J has to be on white. Subway sandwiches are on Italian.

I was all about getting on the DKB train until I saw the price. :wtf: I don't know of I can bring myself to drop a ten spot on a loaf of bread. Is that what y'all are paying?!

before you buy it you have to believe the hype they post in the advertising and IMO there is far too much sodium in their "healthy" bread

✓ ALWAYS USDA ORGANIC
✓ ALWAYS NON-GMO
✓ INGREDIENTS YOU CAN PRONOUNCE
✓ POWER-PACKED WITH WHOLE GRAIN NUTRITION

I am so sick of sandwiches as a chef in a big hotel I make over 15000 sandwiches a year but Winnipeg rye bread from City bakery is a great loaf of bread Merry Christmas from Jeff In Winnipeg

rye with a good mustard, lots of Montreal smoked meat with real Swiss cheese and a dill pickle on the side makes a great lunch..🙂

King's Hawaiian Sliced Bread - Just as good as the rolls but easier to make a sandwich with.

Schwartz's Deli on St. Catherine ST. in Montreal has what you need..........
Have to stop there anytime I get up there, you won't leave hungry.
Used to be able to bring it across the border 'til all your cows got mad. Big Brother and the panic squad put an end to that🙁

I seen the Daves killer bread at my local food store. I'm going to grab one next week.

It's worth a try, it's a little pricey, but I don't mind paying the extra money for it. I think I paid $12 for two loaves at Sam's club last I bought it.

180 mg of sodium a serving is about on par for most breads.

I'm a sandwich everyday for lunch guy too!
White bread is what I like, and this is my go-to brand...
