Had a friend suck most of my time away today.

But the cold side is done, and the fuel pump mount is done, ready to mount and finish the fuel system.

Cold side looks pretty good. Waiting on piping for the crossover redo and the engine bay can be finalized.

Says Mr. "Sloppy McRodbender" himself? All good. You know I envy your work. I've almost forgiven you for the LS Cutlass thing.
It was a pretty good jab, I appreciated the flair. Nothing like an early morning laugh.

If this offends you, stop looking now...

I have been slugging away on this for a couple days, I got the Magnafuel 4303 and bracket finished up, mounted and plumbed into the tank. But its not finished so we will get to that later.

So here it goes again, draw lines at 180, set the saw for 4.5 degrees and let it eat...

I had some clearance on the drivers side manifold I didn't like, the downpipe comes way closer to the brake lines for my comfort. I cut the 2.25" V-band from the previous setup off and started playing with pieces to see what I could do. This didn't end up working, but I will get to that later.

So, it was a mile of tape, fitting, taping pieces together to fit, putting the piece in the V-band, taking it out, redoing it and etc... But I got to here on the passenger side.

Then I restarted the process on the passenger side. I used one of the 2 45 degree mandrels I bought, and it worked pretty nice.

After I got here, connecting was easy. I got it all mocked up, taped and marked for tacking together.

This is why I went through all the trouble of the pie cuts and at least 8 hours of fitting..... Fit is superb. It clears the stock torque converter cover, starter, brake lines, trans pan bolts, and it only hangs about 1 3/4" under the trans/oil pan.

The X marks the location the 60mm gate will be coped into. Pretty much ideal location to dump 4 cylinders exhaust, so it should control the 88/96 very well.

Almost all welded out, total cost was under $100 including welding supplies and gas, took a whole 5, 1/16" 308 stainless wires.
