Very nice! Way more options than what can be achieved with a J-bend.

Are you just running a single 60mm WG under the car?

Correct, I am betting that good priority flow placement will work for boost control with a single. Fingers are crossed on this bet. Lol
That's something to be proud of.
Thanks man, much appreciated.

Wastegate Mount fab today.

This pipe notcher is turning out to be a ton of fun... I might build some more stuff with it. Please disregard the chaos in the background.

Got it all smoothed out, mocked up and took it under the car for placement. Working with austenitic stainless kinda sucks for mock up, I am going to need some clamping in the future that will work for stainless.

Blasted out the welds, I managed to get all this stainless work done on one bottle of Argon, so that was a plus. Still have 200PSI left. The pic on the inside shows the "coped" hold in the tubing, its ugly but should work, I didn't have a hole saw long enough to make a clean hole in the piping.

Here is the final product, got some welds I am not proud of but its all stuck together, in this pic it is backwards to the final product. I will show how its going to line up with the frame and downpiipe once its heat wrapped and installed,

This is the final Fitting of the V-band on the stock truck manifold. I tilted in inward a bit because the manifold does not stay tight to the block and it was pointed directly at the brake distribution on the frame... Wish I could have done more but I was ovaling it pretty good as it.

Gotta reach in there with a 6-8" die grinder ball bit and clean up those sharp surfaces.

Love the truck manifolds - never crack, never leak and be around in 2050 lol !!

Wish I had a long die grinder... 🙁

Speaking of boost creep, wastegate dumping the driver side only....I think you're going to be joining the boost creep club. I think you're monster turbo is not going to give up if you only have 1/2 of the exhaust pressure being relieved.

The upside - more boost, and you have enough pump and injector to handle that 😁

I could be wrong though - I'm hoping not

I have a 1.32 housing T6 housing so I thought it should be enough to reign her in. I have a plan to stick the 44mm on the front of the log if my math/gamble doesn't pan out.

Hard??? Like walnut hard or wedding night hard?

Time will tell, What do you need to do yet? I'm patiently, anxiously awaiting to see this thing run. I don't think it will creep too badly, but I'll guess it will some. I look at it like an unprogrammed scramble button or a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get. Here's to no chocolate covered cherries for you 🙂
