Hard??? Like walnut hard or wedding night hard?

Time will tell, What do you need to do yet? I'm patiently, anxiously awaiting to see this thing run. I don't think it will creep too badly, but I'll guess it will some. I look at it like an unprogrammed scramble button or a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get. Here's to no chocolate covered cherries for you :)

Wedding night of 20 yr old hyper religious virgins?

Nah, maybe more like I dont wanna do it. Welding knowledge cancels out math knowledge. If you've ever met a welder you'd know. 😉

So, right now paint cage, install dash and seats, finish up fuel system and wiring. But I leave Canuckistan for cigar and rum land for real next Saturday so it might be late summer completion.

***Crossover update***

First I used up all the ends of the rolls of heat wrap on the crossover. Yes, there are 4 different kinds there, and the dark stuff is cheap amazon stuff, using the quality DEI stuff before I used it made the cost BLATANTLY obvious. China heat wrap is stuff, made me itch and wraps like crap. Anyway, behold my shame!

After this was done thigs started going back in, permanently like. I mounted the crossover and got my wastegate mounting tool out to get it installed.

Here is the layout of the crossover. I like it a lot.

In the world of compromises, I think this is the least painful. The crossover is slightly below the wastegate, I will bottom out suspension and tires before the wastegate touches the ground, I think anyway, plus I get a great priority flow path for it.

So once that was done and I had a shower to get the Chinese fiberglass fibers out of my flesh, Reassembly began.

Still some clearance issues to deal with on the header panel but its its almost there.

Count down is on:
Finish fuel system
cooling system
swap trunnions to cathedral head rockers.
fit header, bumpers and filler panels.
seats
wiring
touch up paint on roll cage and mount dash.
plumb accumulator
fill fluids
Fuel
Testing
Fire.
