Agree. You’re doing a great job at making it pretty though.

p.s. you do know that an LS feels about t wiring the way a drunk feels at closing time - “pretty or ugly, I don’t care.” Give it the corn and the boost and everything else is secondary.

Ooh roll bar mounts!

Status update.

Preliminary commissioning complete.

So far,
Firmware update to V6 build 110 done

repinned the MAP sensor, was using the wrong schematic.

Scaled all primary sensors, everything matches and backup sensors confirm.

Strip log looks good. Just need to get a starter signal so I can crank it over to test cam and crank signals and we have a winner.

I might be able to start wrapping and finish up the plumbing in the engine bay tomorrow for a start up Monday..... that's exciting!

Thanks man. I don't want to get too optimistic but so far tonight there hasn't been any serious issues so the extra care I put into the wiring might have been worth it.
Pretty is definitely secondary to functioning.

I couldn't think of a better way to mount it all... there just isn't enough real estate once you mount the damn dominator for much else. She's a big pig.

Where did you get them?

Today I learned a valuable lesson about re-inventing the wheel...

I feel like this.

The dash install isn't going to be sexy... Or pretty... or even nice...
It started like this. I couldn't get a good fit, it was a pain in the but and I may have gotten frustrated...

So out came the sawzall

Now I have 4 or 5 dash pieces and it fits ok...

I am going to have to get the fiberglass out later...

I see a shag carpet dash cover in your future.

Maybe some fuzzy dice to create the proper ambience
