Maybe a custom built dash (sheet metal) would be a better route to go at this point? You definately have the talent to pull it off.

I don't know what the Cutlass dash weighs... but, I just carried a Monte/Malibu and a GP dash shell to the trash pile and the GP one was significantly heavier. An aluminum dash would be trick.
 
I have to admit that if I have the time, then I'll be putting in a homemade dash panel. Weight, ease to get in and out, want to put front bars in and it would make it way easier.

But I understand the wants of a factory appearing dash.

All of my multiport harnesses are busy back there. I don't know a way around it unless you pull the wires from the top of the trans bell. But if you were to do that and you needed to access the wires, then it would require pulling the trans.

The intake doesn't help. -8 fuel x-over, 3/8 brake booster line and vac reference line, 2 injector harness connectors....

High ram would have been way better for cleanliness.
