Vectors = life

Remind me, are you keeping an OEM style dash or all fabbed and just the basics?

I forced myself into a fabbed dash, cage down bars are too far forward. So it will be minimal.

Got an hour or so in tonight.

Fluids checked, topped up, new oil filter spun on. Diff filled, Trans topped up with 10L of fluid for first run.

Played with the wiring briefly, thinking I might make a starter bypass for now so I can just fire it up and worry about wires later when I have time to burn.

Quick update with todays progress. Despite it being a beautiful day outside and the dog loving the sun.

I got the underhood stuff buttoned up, wiring is 90% complete for the harness, only have a few things left to put in (fans 4 port valve and Nitrous). Discovered that I forgot a primary cable to the starter, kinda important.

So here we are. broke a v band in the downpipe install, luckily I had a spare 2.5" clamp so it was a minor setback.

Removed the intake to run the ignition and injector lines, installed the head grounds and got everything in an torqued in place.

This is the final underhood for the night, only a few small things left to do. I also got the in tank fuel pump wired in and tested for function.

So I connected the laptop and checked all the sensors, updated firmware, and rolled the engine over.....

As of now I need to:
1. mount and plumb a trans cooler.
2. Finish primary power and grounds underhood.
3. Run/Mount engine harness and injector/ignition harness. Wire fan relays and mount fans/intake/cold side plumbing.
4. Finish wiring in ECU and reconnect stock wiring for body.
5. Mount and wire fuel pump relays.
6. Fill/Check fluids
7. Mount seats and dash pieces.
8. Double checks
9. Exhaust, finish odd and ends.

Tomorrow will be trans cooler and fuel system test. Then finish ECU wiring for the in cab stuff and a fire up hopefully.

Looks good. Remember to put anti-seize on those v-band threads... the stainless on stainless likes to eat itself.

Nice chippy-chop!

Lol I forgot you had a bajillion fuel pressure sensors lol.

Idles at 650 also.... not bad for a 226/236 degree cam with 0.590" or so of lift...

I am excited for the pressure data, at an idle I have 19psi of backpressure with the 340 in tank. Once the third. sensor is wired I will have great fuel pressure data. Try and pull max power from my setup.
