IIRC, I just bought some stainless from the hardware store.

Yeah the 403 has none.

I guess when a swap the pump on the 307 I will run to the store and match some up.

Make sure the 307 pump is a closed impeller pump. Here is a kit.

You mean the water pump, I assume? The heavy duty cooling applications use a closed impeller water pump. Your 307 from the factory being A/C should have one. The pump I pulled off my 260 was. Anything including a Robert Bosch high flow thermostat to help the 403 is a good idea.
