And I learned the hard way g body suspensions were superior to a body

10 years from now a mustang or a challenger will be a $2500 car. And after a $40k build a g body would be worth a lot more lol
 come on man

Mean while I'm just now getting back into g bodies after parking my cutlass ten years ago. The difference in demand and availability and price is insane

Not v8 cars. The engines in them alone would bring near that if not more. Maybe clapped out, high miles, not taken care of, etc....

Well yea of course but thats not a $40k car to begin with.....

Anyway missing the point. The newer car will do nothing but go down in value aside from a few select option packages. Meanwhile a g body with similar performance will do nothing but go up in value

Only the GN had similar performance! The V6 Challenger's etc will clobber the V8 "performance" G body cars in every way. My 70 S will run circles around my 88 CSC in handling plus has a 8.5" Type O rear which is way stronger than the garbage 7.5". Our cars has a very limited market. Our SE would fetch close to 20 grand and is 6+ years old. If I can get one for $2500, put me down for 7, one for every day of the week. The V6 base cars match the performance cars from 10 to 15 years ago.
