Oh boy. Here we go. I left the battery charger on last night and when I opened the garage this morning, it stunk. I boiled the damn battery. So, I backed it out, washed the battery down with baking soda and water. It died, and now I have to push it back in.

it isn't bottoming out on the tank is it? that sock looks a little mashed.low inlet volume could've caused early failure...

I think it sucked shut. There is a little tit on the bottom of the pump that keeps the sock 1/4" off the inlet.
