Operation Lipstick on a Pig

With the difficulties in adapting the supercharger inlet, this would lend itself to a turbo more easily. I'll get it in there, and someone else can add the boost. The bottom end will be there, and the heads will be swapped (injector bosses machined on the s/c heads) to n/a. All it will need is the turbo and piping.
I think you should reconsider......flip the exhaust manifolds.....build a merge pipe, get a cheap Holset turbo (hx40 or he351).....fabricate a down pipe....turbo oil feed and drain......injectors.......etc. Based on the rest of the thread, you've clearly got the skills to figure it out. For around $5-700 and a weekend you could more than double the HP of that 3800.

He has two Supercharger's, he needs to put one on once this motor is flogged a bit. Are the cams the same on both motors?

You guys need to do a little more research before giving any advice. If it was me I would see about putting frost plugs in the supercharged heads injector holes. Put your intake and oil pan on. Put it in. That way if you or the next guy wants to up the power later you have options. You can not flip the exaust manifolds, but I can not remember why. Get the Pig running, so I can drive it home when I come up with some money!

I'll do you one better, and just include the supercharged heads with this sale (lower intake, too).
The current plan is to make sure the dampner and flexplate work, put new bearings in the s/c short block, and sell it as "boost ready" with n/a heads.

Got the s/c motor on the stand, and the heads off the n/a. I hooked up the battery charger on the 225a/start. It gave my a loud hum and no crank. The balancer bolt was loose, so I put a breaker bar on it. Once the bolt tightened, I got no spinny spinny. WD40 is soaking on the rings. We shall see....

Regular WD40 wont do a thing if it is locked up.

Try PB Blaster or a 50-50 mix of acetone and transmission fluid.

If you have a block heater hook that up to it

Kerosene also works The most important thing is not to rush it let it sit for a couple of days or even a week.

Home Dopey has acetone in the paint section 13.00ish a gallon.
