Overheating olds

Well the car has takin a downturn, that one bad overheating seemed to take its tole, have a rod knocking very slightly. Only does it when you first start the engine up. After a drive it doesnt knock anymore. So looks like some work is in the future

damn dude sorry to hear about that. are you sure its not spark knock or something cause i think a rod knock would be continuous, am i wrong? hope all goes well man, that sucks

I dont think its spark knock, could be a bad plug i guess. But when its first started and knocks the knock changes with the revs. After the drive there isnt any noticeable knock at all.

a broken flex plate can sound like a bad bearing...
