If you paint the car over, #1 it's no longer original paint, and #2 you're gonna be constantly worried about scratches and parking lot dings after spending all that money. 5k and up for a quality paint job like someone previously mentioned. I'd have someone color match and blend the roof, give the rest of the body a light buff and enjoy it as is. You'll be glad you did later on, and your wallet will thank you too. 😎
