Just curious what everyone on here went with first, new paint or new wheels. I was thinking new wheels first for me so I can get rid of ugly stock wire wheel hubcaps. What a difference a set of new wheels would make on my GP. Plus the paint on my GP is not that bad considering it's the original paint with some touch-ups done to it.

I was just curious everyone on here went with/would go with first on a daily driver.

I say new wheels and tires first.

New wheels can make shitty paint look better, shitty wheels can make good paint look worse, lol.

I was heading in the "new wheels" direction as is, but this thread just made up my mind where my first big spend will go. 🙂

Lets see a $2000 dollar band aid . Or a sweet condition car with great body work Hummmmm?

You can get a set of gm alum wheel everywhere. For cheap . Got for body paint . You will be glad you did .

Just like a sound system In a car with out motor . Duh what !

Definately paint first. Nice wheels shitty paint is common and the same idea as putting a picnic table spoiler on a FWD civic. Plus the stock wire hubs are badass and will do until you got the $ for new ones.

It's not a band-aid if you're gonna get them anyway. A lot of times people lose interest in cars before completing them, so if this were to happen, you can still keep the rims. At the same time, wheels will give the most visual stimulation to a plain car, which can help with not loosing interest in the car in the first place.

You can get really decent wheels at Jegs, Summit ( their brand) at a decent price...Maybe I am seeing what others arent..NO offense to you, but the paint pooks faded.....I say Paint that baby first and then tackle the wheels..... 8)
