Startin to think about painting my bumpers . What's your opinion.

Any color to match the car. I jus flat backed my car and I'm thinkn of doin my bumpers in a gloss black. I saw the gbody of the year had black bumpers and they looked good. Plus my back bumper is starting to rust a lil

i like cutlass all black like the grand national. i think you should do it thats what ima do to mine.

Your profile doesn't show your location but I have a factory original black gel coated Grand National front bumper that I would sell for cheap. PM me if you are interested.

Yea I'm def. Gonna sand them down real good if I do it. I'm just afraid if I do it and dnt like it I won't be able to find decent chrome bumpers to put back on it.

Make sure you prep the bumpers good before hand. Sand them wipe them down with alcohol or asitone then primer and paint. Be sure to take off all the grime and sanding dust.

Will you be taking the bumpers off the car? What kinda paint will you use?

Make sure you use an etch primer then a regular primer. I sanded my chrome bumpers with 80 on a D/A, etch primed them, then used a 2k primer, then black base, and finally a 2k clear. Got rear ended pretty good, pretty much destroyed the back of my 442 but the paint didn't even chip on the bumper! haha

I'm not sure if I'm gonna take them all the way off . I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet. But now that I keep lookin I see all kinds of cutlass with painted bumpers. Most look pretty good
