Its a cone type too. Better than the gov. lock time bomb. Most likely 28 spline axls as well. Good score mate.
Anybody else got any info on this? Got me curious now i thought they was all 26 spline. Not go n against what you posted just wanna verify if it is possible

If its 7 5/8 th"s and it sure looks like it is. The axls are 28 spline my friend. My Grande LeMans would snap the 26 spline axls for fun at the drag strip.. believe it or not the 7.625 is stronger with the 28 spline axls.

years ago I went from 2.41 to 3.42, didn't like it and and went back to 3.08. If you don't notice a huge difference check your pulse...😀

cool cant wait

Make sure the vent isn't plugged! You don't want to get it under the car and 500 miles later have a seal go out from pressure build-up.
So went today to round up the parts i needed and of course nobody had the vent. One place had to ask 4 different guys there what it was even after i told him what it was.

It will be a completely different car. You will be grinning from ear to ear unless if you are trying to do high highway speeds for an extended period of time. I think you already said in another thread that you don't use the car on the highway.
