Positraction carrier stuck?

8.5's were only 3 series carriers. And 41 teeth on the ring gear could also be 3.42's.

your right about it being an 8.5 but I counted the pinion teeth (15) so if he's right about the 41 teeth on the crown it's a 2.73

Sorry didn't mean to make it sound like I was correcting you. Just throwing out another possibility for the 41 tooth crown.

I was looking at the rear end upside down and saw the fangs and took it as a 7.5 so you did correct me on that. I should have thought it kind of strange to have the brake lines run on the bottom of the pumpkin.. 😳
