Post pics of your G Body on 16" wheels. Include tire size, trying to get an idea of what I want to run on the elco. Thanks!

16x8 Chevy S-10 rims with 255-50-16 tires on stock rear axle and front brake rotors. All wheels have the same backspacing, no shims required. Tiny bit of filing required on a 1mm lip inside the center hole to fit over rear axle hub button. Before you spend the money, consider going straight to 17" rims; if you make brake upgrades, you have more options that way.

Ive already got a set of 16x8 ION225's just trying to find a tire I like. Currently running 225/60/16, thinking about 220 or 215.

wheels are 16x8, 4.5" backspacing, tires are 245-50-16. I have f body spindles so the track width is increased about 1/2" on each side and the rear is from a 67 Chevelle so the track width is increased 1 1/4" on each side. When I had a G body steering box the tires would rub the 34 mm bar at full turn but with the Z box from an f body the wheels no longer rub

My 78 El Camino on 17 X 8 Summit legends 5 wheels with 4.5 in back spacing, sitting on 235/50/17 Michelin rubber. I installed IROC-Z springs and the Z-28 steering box and the 36 mm F-body front sway bar. Monte Carlo SS cargo coils in the rear.
