Looking good toby! It will be nice to bring another g over to the shop for a bit. She can hang with a few older brothers while we make her like glass.

Great! THe 8.5 got a bath today and wire wheeled the sh*t out of it. It will go under primer and chassis saver tonight or tomorrow. Then I am truly ready to pull the frame down and start dressing it.
Good deal we should haul it over with all the sheetmetal hung. That way we can just mark everything where it lines up before stripping it back down. That makes for a much easier install especially with the hood and doors.

Toby, why don't you take your rear end to Tristate and have it powder coated?[/quo

We can definitely talk. I suppose it has to be black too...... :blam:

Trying to bring pinky back? Don't know if you noticed or not but my painters truck has a pink bedliner in it.

It was time to recondition the 8.5. Got it all stripped down, sanded wire-wheeled ready for a oil change, new seals and a nice paint job of epoxy prime and chassis saver. But.....as I was pulling the axles out, which requires removing the locking pin for the spider gears, it broke off in the carrier. So that delayed me about 2 hours trying to figure out how in the hell to remove it. A little patience, wd 40, and and easy out I was able to CAREFULLY remove it. DOnt know what it is about those pins, but they all seem to break on me. So finally now, i can stop reconditioning and start assembling TOMORROW! Another good news flash....the new Cutlass Supreme Door Shell prototypes will be arriving tomorrow for test fitting!!!

The uses for engine hoists never cease!

Frame work has begun and is nearly finished. This has taken nearly 2 entire evenings to get it ready for the body. All that is left will be to clean up the air shocks and put the body on.

lookin good! :notworthy:
