BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

Installed the new steering shaft. Pretty easy, just had to grind a small divot in the column shaft for the upper clamp bolt to pass thru.

Then just couldn't resist any longer. I'm so excited! I'm fairly certain the front end will have to come up a little and I know there will need to be some trimming done, especially on the lower spoiler where it is attached to the fender. But with coilovers the adjustment is a two minute job now 🙂

Looking back at some of my old notes. They indicate position #3 as having the shorter bolts. 10x 1.5 x 55mm long. 2, 4,6, 7. are shown using 10 x 1.5 x 80mm long.
Hope this helps you.
The car looks great back on the ground.,,,and overall. Love the color.

*Sorry, it looks like I'm a little too late for the party...

I think so... It almost seems like the rear should be pushed out just a bit and the fronts should be in just a little. But I think with a little trimming on the front edge of the fender and lower spoiler, combined with raising the car about 1/2" that should do it. It actually clears now but that's without suspension movement of course
