BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

Here's the driver's side. You can see the braided hoses and the adjustment knob for the RideTech coilovers. Getting really close now!

Fixed my tail lights and turn signals. Ended up being the aluminum wiring was corroded at the connector in the trunk. Cut the connector out, went to the local pick and pull junk yard, found a late model full size GMC van and cut a weatherpack connector out of it and spliced into my harness. Still need to heat them up so the heat shrink seals the connections.

Then disassembled my rear brakes. Pedal just didn't feel right and the right rear would lock up at the slightest brake application. Found the spring on the equalizer bar broken and the wheel cylinder leaking and sticking. That would do it...

This thing is really Sharp! I like the mods you have done ( Love the Serpentine swap, I have it on two of my Caminos right now) I noticed the twin fan setup on your radiator, just curious about what/ where did that come from? Also of note, Very impressive lowering the body complete back onto the frame. I need to update the mounts on my 83 EC SS and this doesn't "look" as bad as I am afraid it might be. Outstanding job!

Thank you! The fans are from a 93-97 Camaro/Firebird with the LT1. They fit perfectly using an Olds radiator plate.

Alignment done. We ran out of time. Caster split isn't quite what I wanted, same with camber.... Basically zero camber and high caster on the left instead of the right. Obviously we got the toe right though. Drives much better. Might see what I can do about the upper control arm bolts. We are running out of room for shims. Felt so good to drive it afterwards though! With the Vortec heads it definitely has more power. Had to pedal it in 2nd even with the 275's 😀

Took the wife out for a ride. First thoughts, holy crap these brakes are awesome! Lots of stopping power and I thought my originals that worked great were good. Little flat spot in the upper rpm range, I never did check total to, gotta do that. Ran great the whole time though. Got into full throttle several times. Looks like I should've replaced the clutch while it was easy. Started slipping once and I thought the tires were spinning. Oops. Seemed fine afterwards though.

Only issue I'm really having is the when I got back I popped the hood and noticed the belt had jumped one groove. Pulled it off, edge was all beat up, happened to have another new one put it on. By the time I walked around the front it did the same thing. Inspected everything, all looks good. All new pullies. Not sure what is causing it. I'll dig into a little more this weekend.
