BUILD THREAD Project Olds Cool (Recognition!!)

Looking great D! That car is going to be straight as a die when you're done with it!

Thanks Joe, I sure hope so.
There’s lots of work to do now that the fender is off the car, lots of surface rust removal and treating, holes in the inner structure from the old cruise control transducer to weld up, feathering out old paint and the like, but one area at a time.

It’ll all come together eventually.
🙂

looking good old friend... we’ll have to get together again one day and talk tech...

Absolutely and thanks! Nice to hear from ya again Dana. I’m hoping to have this thing ready for Three Hills next year, maybe a meeting of the G’s there is in order? (That means you too Duke!)

Donovan, nice work as always, still really wish this trick would work for the later cars but they have the turn signal built into the urethane wrap around for the front and rear. Keep me in mind when you go to part that car out im always looking for stuff for mine, id take the whole thing but they dont want me in Canada 😆

Challenge accepted. I'll get on it as soon as I have garage heat. 👍

GM really loved making these cars like lego, and also like a Rubik's cube of parts - because there has to be 49 different fender liners for these things.

Thanks very much for all the comments and support guys. I really appreciate it.
