If you want to pinstripe, you could first apply a parts store pinstriping tape where you want it & if you want real painted stripes, applypinstriping masking tape around (& between it if needed) , then remove stripe & paint on with small brush & shot 1 paint.

I actually kinda can pinstripe already. I have all the paints and brushes, I taught myself how to do it a few years ago.

Anyways, talk about nerve racking. 1st coat of Monstaliner looks good, I'll do 1 more this afternoon

For those of you who havent used Monstaliner, its awesome. 100% UV permanent, and you can get it almost any color. They did have a color that matched my paint, but I decided to just do it in black. That way if I paint the car agin it'll still work.

So I got a little excited today.

And thats pretty much what its going to look like. I might do something different with the hood
I kinda like the shaker idea jlcustomz was talking about recently.

i was gonna paint my elky with a bedliner, i did some research and the duplicolor hurculiner with kevlar was rated the best. but at 100 bucks a gallon , imma wait on that...

You should be excited. OOOOH yea, looks a lot better photographed in less light &put back together. The black of the bedcoating really stands out good next to the champagne color.Would some kind of black striping on the lower half, possibly even reproduction el camino ss stripes be an option here? Or the 77' stripe might look cool.
One day I wanna have door handles like yours.

Thanks fellas. My friends have been giving me a hard time about the color. I think when all the chrome is back on it will make it look completed. The flat/suede look isn't for everyone. But the paint came out really good for painting it myself. Its even and not 1 run or sag.

Every page needs a pic.
