20" wheels are just too big for the overall look I want the car to have. Wheels are oficially going on sale

Re: Project "Bagging Rights"

Wow! I say go with the pick up wheels, thos are bad assss....wait!! Wow i like the billet spec too... Ahhh man great choice of wheels...

Re: Project "Bagging Rights"

the wheel on the truck and the buick are nice... im going to be trying to shave the bed trim shortly, cause its about the only thing i can do for now, while waiting for some parts... dont know exactly how im going to do this yet, but i guess it wont get done unless i start somewhere...

Keep up the GREAT work bro!

Re: Project "Bagging Rights"

Ah man I said wait till I'm out of school to sell the rims lol. If I end up not needing a laptop for college I know where some of my student loan is going lol.

Re: Project "Bagging Rights"

So I will be starting the tedious block sanding- super smoothing- of the elco this weekend. Then I will be busy for work, have to take a couple trips, and then I will paint this thing. I have most of the stuff ready to go.

I am going to paint it this exact color, flat champagne gold metallic.

I originally bought a way different color paint, but I will use that for a motorcycle. So this is the one, haha. I have a gallon and a half of it. 😀

I think my engine color will match nicely, and it gives me alot of options on interior colors.

I did cut out my inside fender lips and rolled them pretty hard, just incase I can find a pretty agressive wheel set for it.

Man that drivetrain is looking sexy

Re: Project "Bagging Rights"

So what the rims on the elco are for sale now??? They would look nice on my regal lol

Re: Project "Bagging Rights"

I think that color should set apart your's as your's from everyone elses.Went back & forth looking at the color example & your truck, should look good. I agree it should look good with engine color also. Some wheels with the background areas painted that color may be a thought here?? Ran across a thread on ceramic engine paint for window trim I'm giving some thought, may interest you. http://www.pro-touring.com/showthread.p ... ld-molding
That metal glaze is some good final stuff, ain,t it.
