Not much of an update but got my BTR valve spring kit. So I should be able to change springs and set heads this weekend if I don't get super busy

Well again reality didn't go as planned had a friend that was suppose to lend me a valve spring compressor for LS he ended up not finding it. So I tried to improvise, seen people use a wrench before. Well I cracked it on the 4th valve. Heads are pretty funny so Im gunna change seals and lap valves. But I'm gunna have to buy the tool I guess so it'll be next Sunday atleast. Gotta do a polar plunge to raise money for special Olympics Saturday so I probably won't get time then

Didn't have any flat stock laying around. Just bought this house not to long ago. Live in the middle of nowhere and no hardware's around so I figured I'd cut my losses and work on the house. I ordered the fancy aluminum one from jegs yesterday

That works, too. I think I have about 6 I've made, whenever I can't find the previous ones.

However I did ruin a valve seal along the way so I'll be waiting on the other head. Hand lapped my valves and cleaned them. Resurfaced the head and block with a roloc wheel. Installed new seals and 660 BTR springs new ls9 head gaskets and ARP pro studs

Going along. L33 is already in. Just working on odds and ends to make power.
I know how that goes. Nickel holding up a dollar it seems like on mine. I'll be waiting on oil pump and pan to even locate the motor In the frame but don't have tons of cash to throw at it all at once. One peice at a time like Johnny Cash used to sing
