Pypes install questions?

I'm installing my Pypes 2.5 inch system on my Elco. On the tailpipes, I can't figure out what attachment points on the car to use. The original muffler/tailpipe mounting points don't seem to wanna work,not with the one hanger per side that came with the kit

Remind me what your car is. Did you go side exit or rear exit? Pypes has some pictures on their website.

Do you have the monte style pipes? Return the kit and get something else. Sorry for the gripe. If so you can try and find some monte tail pipe hangers that bolt by the rear frame rails.

Made my own mounting - didn't run tailpipes but it will still work

You might look into mounting a hanger on the lower front of the rear crossmember right above where the muffler & tailpipe connect like the SS's were. Another way would be using 442 rear hangers, they mount where the stock single muffler went.

I had to tweak mine...But I ran a larger tip,that might have effected it some.

I'd buy the Holley BlackHeart kit it comes with really good well thought out parts and instructions. Worth the extra $200ish.
