Oh and I cant find any Olds anything around here

Everything has been SBC'd or LS'd

A 5 or 5A early head made to fit should do that.

Yes thats why I was interested in those.

You dont have any heads in your magical pile of goodies?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

What do you plan on doing to them? I don't get the appeal of iron heads. By the time you get all the work done, you can get a pair of aluminum ProJunks. I have a pair of 7As and a pair of 3s, if you're looking for some. The 3s are unmolested on a '66 330 that's been sitting since the late 80s.

I was looking at the procomps for a while, even before I got the 403.

The pics look like they have small ports in them like the 307 7A's

Also, not sure if the stock belt system will work with them

77cc chambers to............BLAH :puke:

From what I understand, they are ripoffs of the 1st gen E-brocks (which I have on the 468) and flow slightly better than a stock C. The only hitches to getting them on a SBO are the bolt/dowel holes and the intake needs port matched.

One day I'll find a set of heads.....one day.......

They only reason im looking for a different head is to bump up the compression a hair

8.5 in anything NA is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!
That is if you are lucky, might be more like 7.5 to 1. Procomp heads not only need milled but also need screw in studs, guide plates and roller tip rocker arms at minimum. I wish they would cast two chamber sizes. They flow about 240/180 and have a better spark plug position. The exhaust port is smaller, raising the floor eliminated a dead spot and increased flow.
