My story really hasn't changed. I guess im just not describing things clear maybe? Or didn't describe it clear in the original post. Either way I wasn't the only person there. Both the police and insurance company had my buddy fill out reports. We were literally 10 feet from each other when it happened. Everything he said matched my version of the events no matter what way you look at it.

By changing I mean your adding more detail which is common over time....but if two eyewitnesses fill out reports and they are identical it is very rare and usually infers that the two eyewitnesses have spoken about the event. I have questioned eyewitnesses at trial and many times they seem to have seen different events.

All I was trying to say is that a strict judge with conservative christian views isn't going to give a damn what you have to say at all if he even suspects you were drinking, parked or not. Keeping it real 2016. As for the responsibility thing, that's between you and the lord. You know what you did was wrong, but admitting it online would be a foolish decision before court verdict hands down. Whatever we say on here is public. A few years ago, I decided I was never going to get in the car after having more than 1 drink again and I notice bad karma and cops don't seem to follow me around as much anymore. As for you, just because someone was significantly more wrong than you does not mean that you are in the 'right'. Both of you people are wrong. Period. Even if you wiggle out of the legal problem it is still going to cost you a lot of money, so I hope you learned your lesson and just don't get in the car after having drinks at all anymore. You will not regret it when you notice that bad things seem to stop happening to you anymore, at least in regards to driving.

83MonteSS was not wrong in taking the car out until it is proven that he was impaired at the time he was actually driving and a not a minute after he got out of the car. . It is quite possible that he was not impaired when taking the car out and if the car didn't stall it's also possible he could have been home before the alcohol took effect. Even if he was impaired that had nothing to do with the accident. You don't understand the laws and the science with alcohol. It is not up the judge, Christian or not, to ignore evidence and base his/her judgement on their own personal opinions.

Because something is only wrong once other people can 'prove' it? Come on guys. Learn to use the left sides of your brain more, now that you have mastered using the right side.

I don't understand what your are trying to say...

"In general, the left hemisphere is dominant in language: processing what you hear and handling most of the duties of speaking. It's also in charge of carrying out logic and exact mathematical computations. When you need to retrieve a fact, your left brain pulls it from your memory.

The right hemisphere is mainly in charge of spatial abilities, face recognition and processing music. It performs some math, but only rough estimations and comparisons. The brain's right side also helps us to comprehend visual imagery and make sense of what we see. It plays a role in language, particularly in interpreting context and a person's tone."

This right here is a perfect example of why most people hate Lawyers. Using legal technicality bullshit to somehow excuse his actions doesn't fly with the masses. Again, when someone YOU love gets killed by a driver who "was drinking beers with my buddies", see if you come running to his rescue. Play stupid games, pay the price.

If you would stop thinking like a Weasel, (sorry, Lawyer) you would understand.

Can we just start the rebuilding thread for the Monte already and put this thread to rest.

I am merely taking an objective view of the circumstances and if you can't understand or respect that I can understand that but there is no need for your personal insults. It's obvious you don't know what a technicality is because I never spoke of a technicality. What I am talking about is the procedures that are in place to extrapolate if someone was impaired at the time. That procedure was set up by the government so your insulting the wrong side. But please just ignore my comments in the future

Stay tuned in the build thread section. The new car made it home lastnight. Details and pics to come.

To everyone else that keeps rehashing the same old sh*t please let's move on. It's all taken care of. Lessons were learned. Time to move on.
