Hey guys, I have a question on this disc brake conversion. I got the caliper mouning brackets and calipers off the rear of a 1998 Chevy S-10 blazer, bought new backing plates, caliper rebuild kits, rotors and pads for the 98 Blazer. Got the flange ends cut and drilled off gthe 10 bolt and the brackets are mounted up and everything looks correct and lines up good. Ebrake are installed as well. When I went to put the rear rotors on, and they are way too deep and hit the backing plate. So after watching some vids, and reading some posts on here, I think I may have found the issue, but wanted some verification first. The donor blazer was a 1998 4WD, so I ordered all the brake parts including the rear rotors for a 4WD, but it looks like 2WD rotors are installed in all the videos, and by appearance they look shallower. Researching it, they are in fact. Will these rotors fit this fabrication? Or am I missing something. Also, I ordered Moser rear 28 spline axles, but I ordered them for what the car is, 1978 Monte Carlo, not the donor blazer... is that correct? IU figured the same differential is going back in, just different brakes, carrier and gears. Which is all installed as well. No modification to the differental that would effect overall outside dimensions. I greatly appreciate all the knowledge like always guys! Thanks!!
