i swapped a stock rear end out of my 83 cutlass and put in a 67 chevy rear end.the brake hose for the 83 that mounts to the rear end is to short for the new rear end.it needs to be aleast 4 inches longer.anyone have any part numbers or swap out brake hoses that i can use for this situation.

Don't know if you would want to go this route, but, The rear brake hose on a 97 ish jeep cherokee (sport, se) could be a bit longer than a G body hose, it has the same type and size 3/16 fitting and similar mounting. If that one isn't long enough, a 79 ford f250 4wd brake hose will be. Most likely your local parts store may have either of them in stock. Oh yeah, and a brake hose for a 94 or 95 jeep Wrangler is said to be a touch longer than the cherokee's.

i need something that goes in the middle of the rear end and splits boths ways.the guys at the part store says there is a left and a right.

watching this thread... Im doing a 71 Olds 8.5 rear-end swap in a 81 Cutlass. Im curious of the same thing. What are you doing for wheels?

????? They are drinking their bathwater, and looking up front brake hoses. Either that or their looking up a grand cherokee.
Needs to be a regular cherokee "se" or "sport", it has the same type setup as a G body, tell them to look again.
