Just dropped the driveshaft off to get shortened, ujoint changed and balanced. $200 plus tax😫😫😫😫
Good God, 🤦🏾♂️ Well I lost this hand$200 sounds a bit high. When asking for a quote ask how much it would be for a new tube. When I had mine shortened I never asked and found out afdter it was only about $80.
$275 dollars later, I got my driveshaft back🤦🏾♂️. I’m going to put it in Tonight after work and hope it fits! Been have trouble bleeding my manual brakes. Hopefully I can get those two things sorted it out tonight and get my car off jack stands and back on the road!
Literally were hoping they would work, I tried to keep all the original stuff intact, I just hate doing brake lines lol. I did redo the rubber line up front because it was punctured. Def have zero brakes now😩Did you swap the brakes from the old axle to this one or are you hoping the unknown brakes will work? New rubber line to the axle?
Gravity bleed - it's been my savior many times for rear brakes. Then let it sit overnite and all is well.
$275- geesh - glad my kid works at the driveshaft shop.
