I agree with you 100% he's in for the profit and not to preserve the hobby. I had restored two W30 cars a 68 and 69 30 years ago and sold and gave away most of my spare parts to individuals that are in need of them and not for profit. I will admit that i still have a large selection of 68 and 69 W30 specific parts that i will not part with or sell it to someone that just has a plain 442. I know what these parts a worth but i rather sell it to someone thats restoring a documented W30 that needs it. Last year I met a father and son at a local car show and they had 83 hurst olds that he purchased new. Well back in the late 80's he took out the lighting rods out and replace it with a B&M shifter. They were looking for lighting rods to put back in the car but they didn't have 1k spend. I could see his son was really into gbodys and into the hurst so I sold him one of sets I had for $400.00. Yes call me crazy but thats just the way I am.When you sell parts to a guy called "Ron's Classic Cutlass" you pretty much 100% know he in it for the money. 15,000 sqft warehouses are not cheap.
