We evaluated one of those at work a few years ago. The results were excellent so we will probably buy some form of it.
On aerospace parts you can't just say "yeah, we're going shoot it with a LASER and that is going to clean it". We have to jump through hoops for 3 years and test a bunch of parts. Getting a tax bill through congress would be easier.

I get to sit on the laser suitability board at work... and I tell you what... the safety implications of this tool would send up so many red flags. I say this because the damage that could be done by bypassing the safety lock-outs is insane. We have enough problems with laser engravers...
an extension cord that will reach your neighbors outdoor outlet would be solve that issue......😎
on second thought those lasers cost $53,000 so if you can afford a toy like that your hydro bill shouldn't be a problem
