Screw those other guys. Anybody can find a survivor and give it a MACO restoration. Takes a REAL car guy to save a basket case! My 84 Cutlass was hit HEAVY in the front {needed new frame and front clip} and had the typical rust in the usuall spots. You will never learn as much as when you dig into a chalenging project. These cars are EASY to work on and anyone who tells you it is too hard/ too far gone, is lazy, or don't know what they are doing, or impatent,,,perhaps all of the above. I blew mine down to a body sell and bare frame and I would NEVER do it any other way. It is built to 100% my specs. All those people rolling in survivor cars with bolt on parts can't say that

KEEP GOING. I am from central Canada {salt/snow} so all our G bodies look the same, or worse, than yours. Don't let those nay-sayers disuade you from it.
