Run the lines for the gauges through a grommet in the fire wall. Don't kink or bend the temp gauge cable more than about 45 degrees because it can break internally then you'll need a new gauge. Use copper line for the oil pressure gauge. Route it away from getting pinched behind the valve covers and the firewall.

Don't make it tight either, leave some slack in the oil line. Coil it up, don't cut it. It's really soft stuff so you'll just end up crushing the line.

or use electric gauges, less expensive, easier to install and fine for daily drivers
