Greetings Blake & all; I see that you have your plate full? I got pictures for ya from Car Craft Nat's, maybe 40 or so. How would you like me to get them to you? Are we not limited to 5 in a normal post? And Many Thank Yous for all you time & effort making this site possible. Ol'e Bob.

Maybe you could create an album in the media gallery and put them in there... I don't recall what the upload-at-the-same time limit is there though. be a good time to test that out though.

....and in addition to Microsoft, AOL and AT*T (again) have also started blocking e-mail from the new IP's. greeeeaaaatttt. At least I found forms to request removal from their blacklists and have submitted them. We'll see what happens next. I'll keep pestering everyone until its cleared up.

What a pain! I just wanted to say thanks for hosting this forum. I get a lot of enjoyment from this site so thanks for the work that you do to make it possible.

I got a notice yesterday that emails sent to [email protected] had failed. I could also not reply to any threads. I changed my contact to a gmail account this morning and that fixed that problem.

This is definitely one way to fix the problem. Still working on it. Looks like its time to resubmit all the forms again. I get that spam is a problem, I mean I support drone strikes on known spammers' headquarters, but this sort of thing is really a PITA. I can sort of see where they're coming from, though, I have to completely shut off the server from entire IP blocks in certain countries to fend off the constant hacking and spam attacks.

You have alot on your plate. I know there is a problem with Outlook and I'm happy that just going to my gmail fixed it. I'm sure you'll get everything sorted out but for me it's mind boggling to me how theses issues pop up when you changed the server and used the same forum.

Well, what happens is at pretty much any dedicated server farm, they have so much churn from spammers and russian hackers and the like, that the IP addresses were probably at some point used to pump out spam or the source of hack attempts or whatever. Then those addresses go on the big e-mail providers' blacklists. When someone legit gets the new addresses and tries to use it, this happens. It wouldn't be so bad except that they make it damn near impossible to get off the lists. They could care less. I usually have to resubmit the requests several times before someone pays attention. Maybe that's how they weed out the legit folks from the low lifes, I don't know... Just wish they'd get to it.

On another note, it looks like AOL might be accepting mail again. So there's that.

IMPORTANT: If any of you get "locked out" because of too many bounces, drop me an email at [email protected] with your username. I will get it, but I won't be able to reply directly to your email... I will be able to unlock you though.

Ugh and the lockouts have started. Sorry about this everyone. First thing in the morning I will restore access for everyone locked out bc of contact information and figure out how to stop that from happening. Ugh. I will resubmit the proper requests to Microsoft and att/sbcglobal too.

OK I changed the rules the board uses to lock users out if their e-mails bounce, so hopefully we don't hit the new limits, because if we do then I'll have already gone postal by then and it won't matter anymore.

I've reset everyone who was locked out due to too many e-mail bounces. So that should at least get everyone back to where they can reply, post, etc.

For now, the only remedy is to change your e-mail away from Microsoft or AT&T/SBC Global/Prodigy. Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and others seem to be fine and not run by bureaucratic a-holes.
