I used 2" drop spindles with my QA1 coilovers to keep stock-ish travel in both directions with the stance I wanted. Drop spindles would solve your problem at this point..………………..if you actually need 2 more inches of drop.
Thanks, that seems the direction I'm headed. Do you have any personal experience with a dropped spindle you can recommend?

Not really. I just looked on eBay for the most substantial looking set as shown in pics. I didn't buy the cheapest ones, but I doubt there is much difference. The part looked quality when I got it, good machine work, bearings fit nice, caliper fit no issue, and definitely 2" drop. I'm sure someone here will tell you why to only use brand name parts. In the end it's all about the fit and the alignment job that goes with it.

Maybe UMI and Detroit Speed get their lift springs from the same overseas vendor....:popcorn:


They dont or at least they didnt...

My friend just got the Detroit Speeds in his T-Type and they sat perfect with the 6 in it
